At Legacy Speech & Debate, we believe every young voice deserves the chance to grow, be heard, and be honored. That's why our coaching services are open to any student, whether you're already part of our club family or simply looking for extra support from the outside. You don't have to "belong" to belong here — if you're ready to grow, we're ready to walk alongside you.

Our one-on-one and small group coaching is designed to meet you right where you are — polishing a piece, strengthening your arguments, or building confidence for your next tournament. No matter your background or experience level, you are welcome.

Please note: these coaching fees apply only to students outside of Legacy Speech & Debate. Current club members do not pay for coaching — this paid service is here for any other student, outside our club, who reaches out looking for extra support.

‍ ‍Private Coaching With any of our coaches

‍ $35 / hour One-on-one coaching in speech and/or debate. Sessions are tailored to the student's event, skill level, and goals — perfect for polishing a piece, building argumentation skills, or getting ready for an upcoming tournament.

$300 / 12 weeks For groups of 4–10 students. Choose a speech or debate focus. Great for teams or friend groups who want to train together, split the cost, and build skills as a cohort over a full season.

What's the difference between private and group coaching? Private coaching is fully individualized — you get the coach's full attention for the hour. Group coaching is a lower-cost option for students who want structured, ongoing practice with peers over 12 weeks.

Can I switch between speech and debate? Private lessons can cover either or both in the same session. Group sessions are focused on one track (speech OR debate) for the full 12 weeks.

What if my group has fewer than 4 students? Groups need a minimum of 4 students to qualify for the $300 group rate. Smaller groups can book private coaching instead.
